From the incredible history of Metalla, the disappeared city of Sardinia located in the last stretch of the Via Romana Tibulas Sulcis, home of the oldest mining town of the island, in that territory where until the end of the last century the mining activities were the primary production activities, a visionary project was born for the industrial reconversion of a disused mining site in a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient Green Datacenter, a "digital mine": Digital Metalla. In a world where data and its protection are becoming increasingly central to the economic system, where the consumption of environmental resources is a strategic element of business development, the goal of Digital Metalla is to convert the mine from the extraction of raw materials to a technological site for the processing, storage and protection of digital assets.
